Cyber Security Analyst

Job Description

A teammate who will detect threats against systems, configure firewalls and carry out proactive threat hunting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run penetration tests and vulnerability scans on client infrastructure
• Review and harden firewall, IDS/IPS and VPN configurations
• Detect suspicious activity through log and network traffic analysis, and take part in incident response
• Prepare clear, prioritised reports and remediation plans for findings
• Contribute to secure development and security awareness training within the team

Requirements

• Strong command of penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit)
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and packet analysis
• CEH or OSCP certification (a plus)
• Linux/Unix system administration and bash scripting
