Enterprise firewall installation and network security solutions
Hardware security solutions that protect your network against known and unknown threats using Deep Packet Inspection and behavioural analysis algorithms.
Designed for enterprise scale
High throughput, low latency and support for millions of concurrent sessions.
Enterprise firewall installation is a fundamental network security step for companies with multiple branches, manufacturing facilities, teams with remote staff and organisations that process personal data. We review your existing network, user and branch numbers, select a vendor-neutral device to fit your needs, and design the rule set, VPN connections and reporting together with you.
A multi-layered defence strategy
- DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) - packet content analysis
- IDS / IPS - intrusion detection and prevention
- Anti-DDoS protection
- Behavioural analysis with zero-day attack protection
- VPN, IPsec and site-to-site connectivity
- Real-time logging and reporting
The cornerstones of enterprise security
Multiple Layers
Parallel protection at the network, application and content layers.
Real Time
Instant threat detection and millisecond-level response.
Visibility
Monitor and report on all your network traffic from a single dashboard.
High Availability
High availability with an HA cluster: if one device fails, traffic switches to the standby device.
How does a firewall project progress?
A planned, documented process in four steps, from discovery to ongoing management.
Discovery and network analysis
We review the network topology, internet breakouts, branch and remote access needs, and the configuration of existing security devices, then prioritise the risks.
Device and architecture selection
A vendor-neutral device recommendation based on traffic volume, user numbers and the protection layers required, plus a segmentation, VLAN and redundancy (HA) design.
Installation and commissioning
The rule set, VPN tunnels, IDS/IPS profiles and logging infrastructure are configured; the cutover is planned and tested so it does not disrupt your workflow.
Monitoring, maintenance and support
Software and signature updates, rule reviews and periodic reporting. SLA-based 24/7 support packages are available afterwards.
Frequently asked questions about firewall installation
It depends on the number of branches, the complexity of the existing rule set, VPN requirements and whether the cutover must be done without interruption. We respond to your request within 24 hours, and the proposal we present within 3–5 business days of the requirements meeting also sets out the installation timeline. We plan the cutover together for a time window that will not affect your workflow.
A hardware firewall is a separate device at the network's internet breakout that runs on its own processor and operating system and inspects all traffic centrally. Software-based solutions run on servers, computers or virtual environments. Enterprise networks typically combine a hardware firewall at the network perimeter with additional software layers on servers and endpoints.
Not always. During discovery we review your switches, cabling and existing security devices, and keep everything that can be kept. If you have segmentation needs, such as separating departmental or production networks, we may recommend changes to the VLAN structure; exactly what will change is clearly stated in the proposal.
Yes. We set up IPsec-based site-to-site connections between headquarters and branches, and authenticated VPN access for remote staff. By defining access rights per user or group, we make sure each user can reach only the systems they need.
One year of free maintenance is included in enterprise projects. During this period we handle software and signature updates, rule set reviews and log reporting. After that, management can continue with SLA-based 24/7 support packages as needed.
